Gearbox Updates 4/6/25

Enhancements & New Features

• Incomplete Prestart Indicator: A new icon is now displayed in the Last 7 Days view when a prestart is incomplete.

• Scheduled Date Visibility: The Date Scheduled field has been added to the Open Repairs, Tyres, and Open Inspections tables in their respective dashboards.

• Prestart Question Display: The Prestart Question Section now appears within the Items Checked table inside individual prestart records.

• Repair +1 Timestamp: The Last Reported timestamp for +1 faults is now shown in the New/Open Repairs section.

• Labour Type Management: You can now configure Labour Types in Gearbox for tracking Mechanic/Technician labour times.

• Improved Multi-Tab Navigation: Each browser tab now maintains its own breadcrumb path. Opening multiple tabs is fully supported without interfering with your navigation history.

• Open Inspections Banner: A new purple banner now appears in the Services view to highlight any open inspections for that asset.

Bug Fixes

• Contractor Summary Email Subject: Resolved an issue where the subject line would incorrectly display as "[Gearbox] Never Contractor Summary" if the frequency was set to ‘Never’.

• Incorrect Labour Time in Work Order Dashboard: The Work Order Status Dashboard now correctly reflects the total labour hours.

• +1 Faults Visibility After Archiving: Prestarts with a +1 fault now behave correctly even when the associated fault has been archived.

• Duplicate Records in Labour Report: Fixed an issue where running Vehicle Reports > Labour Report would display duplicate records.

• Duplicate Employee Numbers: Gearbox now prevents creating employees with the same employee number, even if their names differ.

• Prestart Group Filter: The Prestart Group filter now correctly applies to asset selection.
