Gearbox Updates 2/7/25

Enhancements & New Features

• Contractor Portal Branding: Contractors can now select the correct business when logging in, if they are associated with multiple businesses.
• Employee Reminders UI Refresh: The Employee Reminders screen has been updated with a fresh, modern interface.
• Download Prestart APKs from Gearbox: Customers who require the Prestart APK can now download it directly from Integrations > Prestart Settings within Gearbox.

Compliance Enhancements

• WAHVA & NHVR Fields:
  • Added WAHVA Operator # to the Vehicle Owner section within Gearbox Settings.
  • Added Compliance Plate field under WAHVA Compliance, formatted as MM/YYYY. If not fitted, the field will display ‘Not Fitted’.
  • Added RFS Number field under NHVR Mass Compliance.
  • These fields are now visible on both the electronic and PDF versions of the Inspection Jobcard, including:
    • Vehicle Type
    • WAHVA Operator #
    • Compliance Plate date or ‘Not Fitted’

Bug Fixes

• Samsara Integration: Missing OBF engine seconds were preventing odometer records from importing. This has now been resolved.
• Work Orders: Labour rates were visible to internal mechanics when viewing Service, Repair, and Inspection work orders. These are now hidden.
• Duplicate Services: A duplicate service was being created if users clicked Save and Continue followed by Save and Close. This has been fixed.
• Inspection Document Edit Links: The Edit link for documents attached to an Inspection eJobcard was leading to a 500 error. This now correctly routes to the document's edit page.
• Global Search: A bug where results were being overwritten in the Global Search has been resolved.
• Maintenance Running Cost Report: The report was incorrectly showing fuel quantities (litres) as dollar values. It now displays litres correctly.
