How to Add Multiple Mechanic Signatures to a Service, Repair & Inspection eJobcard

  • Updated

This feature allows multiple mechanics to sign the same Service or Inspection eJobcard. This is useful when more than one person has worked on a job for compliance, auditing, or internal approvals.

The same signing process is used for both Service eJobcards, Repair Jobcards & Inspection eJobcards.

How Multiple Signatures Work

Multiple authorised users can apply their own signature to the same eJobcard. Each signature is recorded individually against the job.

Step 1 – First mechanic signs the eJobcard

The first user signs the eJobcard as normal and saves the record.

Step 2 – Additional users add their signatures

Any other authorised user can then open the same eJobcard and select Add Signature to apply their own signature.

Step 3 – One signature per user

Each user can only sign the same eJobcard once. Once a user has signed, they will no longer see the Add Signature option on that job.

Important Notes

  • A user may only sign the same eJobcard once.
  • If signing from a mobile device, allow a few seconds after signing before selecting Save & Close to ensure the signature is applied.
  • If no users have signed the eJobcard yet, the signature box will appear as normal.
