Adding Global Documents and Processing

The Documents module must be active on your subscription to upload documents

Documents you want to be made Global MUST be uploaded while in the Global Tab

Overview

Global Documents are used to upload documents such as policy and procedure manuals or manufacturer manuals. Please see steps below on how to upload documents to this area.
 

Adding Global Documents

1. Click on (1) Documents then click (2) Global Documents

 
2.  Click on (3) Add Document
 
3. Click (4) Browse to locate a file on your desktop, or drag-and-drop the file into perforated box
 
4. A loading bar will be displayed to indicate the upload progress. Once the bar is full and 100% is displayed click the (5) Close
 

5. Once the document is uploaded it will be displayed on the Global Documents table with the tag Global

 

Tagging Global Documents

Documents uploaded to the Global tag, automatically get tagged as "Global" - however, you can additionally add more Tags to Global Documents and even assign them to specific Records.

  1. The document will now show in (1) Global, Click (2) Document file to link the document to an asset, employee and/or work order
    (service, repair, tyre, prestart, training, purchase order, load sheet, inspection, permit other)
  1. You can add a tag by pressing (3) + Add tag
  1. Select the (4) Document Tag Type, then hit (5) Create Tag
  1. Then check the Tag is correct (6) then hit (7) Update Document
