Set Up and Use Labour Types

Overview

Labour Types allow you to categorise mechanic labour entries added to Service, Repair, Tyre, or Inspection work orders in Gearbox. This provides better visibility over how time is being spent.

Note: Labour Types must be configured in Settings before they can be used in a work order.

  1. Click your user icon in the top-right corner and select Settings from the dropdown (1).

    Access Settings via user menu

  2. In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on Labour Types (2).
