Verizon Connect integration

Overview

 

Gearbox connects with Verizon nightly to collect mileage and hour readings to update services due and calculate running costs. Meter readings imported from Verizon will appear under the Odometer section as well as the Odometer tab of a vehicle.

Prior to enabling the Verizon integration, please speak to your Verizon Account Manager/Sales Representative to see if there are any additional charges for API connections.

Verizon Connect Integration

1. Click on your (1) User Icon, then click on (2) Integrations. 
2. Scroll down until you find Verizon Connect, then click on (3) Setup

3. Once on the Verizon Connect Settings, check the (4) Integration Verizon Connect box, then fill out (5) Username and (6) Password, then press (7) Connect Vehicles.

Once (7) Connect Vehicles is clicked, it will trigger Gearbox to connect with Vehicles in Verizon based on the vehicle name or registration. A vehicle connection report will be sent that lists which vehicles connected successfully or not. This email will be sent to the email address linked to the user that carries out this action.

4. It's advised to manually press (8) Get Readings first before pressing (9) Save and close
