John Deere Integration

  • Updated
Overview
Gearbox integrates with John Deere via API every night to retrieve odometer and hourmeter readings. These readings play a crucial role in Gearbox for calculating Services Due and tracking running costs per hour/kilometer. Automatic readings sourced from telematics are preferred over manual entries due to their reduced susceptibility to user error. Furthermore, the API feed from John Deere ensures consistent and timely capture of readings.

You must have an active John Deere account and Gearbox administrative privileges to complete the below steps.

Please Note: Gearbox uses vehicle 'VIN' to match Assets in John Deere using the 'Serial Number' field, Please ensure these are matching within Gearbox and John Deere for the integration to work.
