Overview
Gearbox connects to Fleetware nightly to capture odomoeter and hour meter readings. In order to enable the integration you will need to speak with your account manager at Fleetware to receive your token details. The steps below outline how to enable your integration and verify the readings.
You must have an active Fleetware account and Gearbox administrative privileges to complete the below steps.
Gearbox uses vehicle 'Fleet Number' or 'Registration' to match Assets in Fleetware using the 'Unit Name' field, Please ensure these are matching within Gearbox and Fleetware for the integration to work.
Fleetware Integration
1. Click on your User Icon (1), then click on Settings (2)
2. On the left-hand side of the screen, scroll down and click on Integrations (3)
3. Scroll down to Fleetware and click on Generate Fleetware API Token (4). This will redirect you to the Fleetware login page
4. Enter your Fleetware credentials and click Log in (5)
3. Once authenticated, your API token will be displayed in the URL e.g. access_token= (6)
4. Enter this Token (7) into Gearbox, check Integrate Fleetware (8) and Save (9).
Get Current Readings
Hour and odometer readings automatically sync every night. Additionally, users have the option to manually trigger an update at any time. To get the current readings, proceed with steps (1-3), then click on the blue Get Readings button.
